Aidan Lovelace
Aspiring Mechanical Engineer
In my final year of undergrad at Lipscomb University, I’m pursuing my passion for Mechanical Engineering. My journey here took an unexpected turn—I initially set out to become a research doctor by studying bioinformatics but soon realized my heart was in studying and applying physics to real-world problems. Outside of academics, I find pure joy in bringing ideas to life whether it’s woodworking, machining, or tinkering with my electric skateboard. It was while working on that electric mountainboard that I had my “aha” moment and decided to change trajectory. Since then, I’ve flourished academically and have had the opportunity to apply my engineering knowledge to exciting projects and internships. I’m thrilled to be on this journey and look forward to exploring new avenues in innovation, design, and research.
