Problem Definition
We sought to develop a solution to transporting a specific accessibility tricycle with the following requirements:
- Mounting – The device must be able to attach to one of the family’s existing vehicles.
- Material – The device must be constructed from standard material sizes.
- Cost – The device must cost less than $50 in materials.
- Compliance – The device must be compliant with traffic laws in Tennessee.

Methods
- Used Solidworks Weldments to design box-tubing structure.
- Analyzed structure for strength using Solidworks FEA
